Accused of Witchcraft in Enga

To people of Enga:

Let me remind you, the natural cultures of God's chosen people Israel are 75% practiced by all the engan tribes. Because you speak the same language made possible for almost everything the same.

When the Word of God came into the shores of PNG and went into enga, The word of God was not foreign to them and enga found it not strange to adopt it, in fact enga rejoiced over it because enga has been living the live already and God's word auto...matically just fit in and there was no big deal about the issues of enga claiming the God of Israel as their God. 

Therefore God is with them in enga active and alive revealing to them with signs and wonders, and accompanied by healing and delivering, miracles are happening right here at our door steps. The point here is, we are serving a God who is Much Much bigger than any situation, circumstance, power, principalities, devil, demon,witchcraft, dead or life can prevent His demonstration of power. Engans, God is here just to do that awaiting your availability to rescue you from these bondages.

In Loving Memory of Waimin Abotan Awalii

Great leaders have lived before but without an art I could not recall any of them. I hear of stories that we had some great leaders but could not picture any of them.

But it will be different in this digital world. We can be able to keep the future generations informed of any happenings in this generation.

Here is a loving memory of one of the great leaders and an elder in a society who has nothing but love for his people since he was born into the mountain soils of the Highlands of Papua New Guinea in the late 1940s.

Waimin Abotan Awalii (pictured) a Village Court Chairman and a most humble, loving and a caring leader who hails from Waimin tribe in Wapenamanda District of Enga Province passed away in Port Moresby General Hospital on the 29th November 2015.

He died at the age of 73 leaving behind his 2 wives, 3 sons and 4 girls, entire Waimin tribe, wantoks and friends. His untimely passing has left a huge gap in the society and the family that will take many years to fill.

He said it was a shame for Polye to ‘’badmouth’’ an investor that came into the country and completed agricultural projects which included the Koroba Agro industrial centre, 9-Mile farm and others.

Maru, in an exclusive interview with Loop PNG today, said the Opposition Leader had never delivered any agricultural projects in the country and for him to speak against such an agricultural investor was “absurd’’.

“If he has allegations against the investor, he should wait for the court proceedings to confirm whether they’re right or wrong in their dealings.

“It is irresponsible for him to brand an investor like that based on mere allegations, especially, an investor that has a good reputation in the country and is known globally,” he said.

 Send "DND" to 16022: TO STOP DIGICEL ADVERTISING TEXTS

Digicel implemented an opt-out solution in early September 2014. This was done after consultation with the regulator, NICTA (National Information & Communications Technology Authority).

A customer can send a free sms with the letters 'DND' to the code 16022.
Within 48 hours the customer will be put on a blacklist which means they will not get any sms messages/adverts from Digicel other than service messages (eg. network outages, responses to credit top ups).

Oppostition Leader Don Polye puts records straigh on projects in Papua New Guinea

PORT MORESBY: Opposition Leader Don Pomb Polye today (Tuesday) set the record straight on infrastructure developments in the country.

Mr Polye said the projects, which the Prime Minister Peter O’Neill had been officiating at to mark their openings respectively across the country, were solely the work of the Somare-Polye government.

“So much have been said about the development projects countrywide during their openings in the public forums, including the mainstream media, but the fact on who was (were) responsible for all these remains misleading,” he said.

He said on record the upgrading of impact projects like the Jacksons International, Hoskins, Kagamuga, Gurney and Tokua airports among others was funded by the past government through the Asian Development Bank.

Polye added the past government was also funding the other major transport infrastructure developments, particularly the regional wharves and highways.

“The only projects the current government funded are in NCD alone under the pretext of international events,” clarified Mr Polye.

LIKE MANY DEVELOPING COUNTRIES, Papua New Guinea is greatly susceptible to HIV/AIDS.

Research and studies have done by many countries but there is no cure identified for the deadly disease. Thousands of people are dying every year.

Daily newspapers, radio, television and social media report the deaths of so many people without specifying the disease. But no reports of deaths from AIDS appear in any media in PNG. But AIDS is a major cause of many deaths.

Preventive measures like using of condoms, avoiding exposure to blood, being faithful to one partner, and male circumcision are tools used in many countries.

Every Districts in the Country [Papua New Guinea - PNG] are comprised of five unique sectors; 

1. Infrastructure 

2.Health 

3. Education 

4. Law & Justice 

5. Economic.

These five sectors are the road map for public services and goods delivery in the both rural and urban areas where the district five year corporate plans are captured in it. Thus the national government undertakes its national budgetary appropriations and commitments annually or appropriate reviews through this road map consistent with the corporate plans. 

The District Five Year Corporate plans are consistent with National or Regional Policies; PNG Medium Term Development Plan 2011-2015, PNG National Departments Ten Years Sector Plans, PNG Development Strategic Plan 2010-2030, PNG National Strategic Plan 2010-2050, Vision 2050 and United Nations Sustainable Development Goal and other relevant regional policies.
